I purchased the Garnen Approach R50 launch monitor package for $9,000.I set it up myself, my wife helped me out.The hardest part was the projector mount. I had to improvise a bit to get the mounting bracket onto the projector itself.After it was all set up, I works great!I use it everyday. The monitor is very accurate all the way down to putting.The things that I am not that happy about are:(1) The projector does not cast a display that covers the entire impact screen. The very top and bottom of the screen are letterboxed out (just black). Maybe 8 inches off the top and bottom of the screen.(2) The velcro on both sides of the bottom of the impact screen come undone which causes the screen to be wavey.(3) The impact screen is already showing ball marks after having it for just 2 months.These are all problems I can easily live with, but would be nice to not have these issues.

Playbetter was recommended to me. I did my research and ultimately agreed that PlayBetter was the optimum choice based on customer feedback, selection and service. Price was important (PlayBetter is very competitive) but not the dominant factor. I discovered that the company has very knowledgeable and courteous colleagues, a good help system to support after (and before) sales questions. They promptly provided required assistance in setting up and interfacing the sim external components (computer, projector, network). Very little assistance was required and the assistance I received was prompt and spot on. Phoning and/or using the online tool to request assistance resulted in timely support. I would say that the online tool to request general or detailed assistance is very handy. You get a timely response from a subject matter expert. My system included the Skytrak+ and runs on a Mac platform. The new Skytrak software is excellent. The included courses are excellent. The new Skytrak software is a significant upgrade from the prior versions. I would use the company again.

How Much Space Do I Need?

To ensure accurate video analysis, install the EXPUTT camera at a height between 2.3 ft (70 cm) and 5.6 ft (170 cm) from the floor.
After installing the camera, check the image and adjust the mat’s position so that the entire putting mat is visible within the frame.
The higher the camera is installed, the farther the putting mat should be placed from it—no more than 5.9 ft (180 cm) away.
The recommended distance from the EXPUTT camera to the start of the putting mat depends on the camera’s installation height. Please refer below:
2.3 ft and 3.0 ft Camera Height - Putting mat should be placed between 2.0 ft and 4.3 ft away.
3.0 ft and 4.6 ft Camera Height - Putting mat should be placed between 2.6 ft and 5.9 ft away.
4.6 ft and 5.6 ft Camera Height - Putting mat should be placed between 4.3 ft and 5.9 ft away.
